Loreen tops charts across Europe following Eurovision win

Singer has enjoyed runaway success
Loreen's track 'Euphoria' is now topping the iTunes charts in 22 different countries in Europe.
She soared to victory in the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday night (May 26), and Loreen Talhaoui is now enjoying riding on the wave of success.
The 28-year-old singer won the annual competition for her home nation of Sweden with infectious pop hit ‘Euphoria’, and is now topping the iTunes charts in 14 different countries in Europe.
But despite her sudden rise to fame, Loreen has vowed to stay true to herself and remain as “different” as possible from other singers.
“I created a form that is different from everything else that usually works,” she told Swedish paper Aftonbladet. “The plan now is to continue to be as true to myself as I possibly can. People do not buy c**p, it was proven yesterday during the contest.”
Loreen is now fleeing the limelight in favour of meditation centre Borntorpet Shambala Gatherings, in Skinnskatteberg, central Sweden, which she has been visiting for many years.
“I'll be on my own in the wild,” she explained. “I have friends who own a meditation centre located in the bush far from civilisation. I'm a hippy girl.”
Although the singer seemed calm and confident as she took to the stage in front of the whole of Europe in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Saturday night, Johan Svanborg, who runs the centre, explained she is usually “shy”.
“Loreen comes here mostly to relax and feel good. It is a quiet place for her to be with close friends,” he said. “To see her in the Eurovision is so different, she is so safe and at home in what she does. As we sit here at the lake, she becomes shy when she is supposed to sing.”

After that, a music video for Euphoria will be shot and later, apparently around September Loreen's first album RAPTURE will be released!
