In a bid to get a sixth number one from Teenage Dream, Katy & Capitol selected 'The One That Got Away' which peaked at an impressive no.3 considering it was a sixth single, but would the summery 'Hummingbird Heartbeat' have been a better shot at a number one? Could the song have made history for Katy?

Honestly , if they really did want a #1 , Peacock was the last song that could've hit #1

Hummingbird Heartbeat could've maybe done it , but Peacock was a locked #1 .

I don't like the song at all ... but I can definitely see it being #1 .

No. "The One That Got Away" is the better song and more radio friendly. I didn't complain since it's my favorite song and we got a beautiful video.

peacock would've been the one to do it; it topped the hot dance/club songs chart with no promo at all so with label support and promo it would've smashed

the one that got away was a good single choice though, was my favourite track on the album
