Music Video: The video sparked controversy for it's sexual manner and sensual choreography. The music video's fashion was inspired by a Las Vegas horseshow. "Ride feat. Ludacris"
Written by: Ciara Harris, Terius Nash, Christopher Stewart, Christopher Bridges
Produced by: Tricky Stewart, The-Dream
US Hot 100: #42
US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks: #3
Certification: US GOLD (Released April 26, 2010)
Notable Chart Success:
-> #3 on US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks despite no label support and video/song ban in urban outlets.
Classic Lyric: "He love the way I ride the beat, like a mother****in freak!"
Music Video: The video once again sparked controversy for its sexual manner and sensual choreography. Despite being heavily clothed compared to other pop singers, the video's choreography and lyrics were apparently too much for BET so they banned the video. Because they knew if they wouldn't have banned it, Ciara would of taken over their ratchet ass network. Therefore, MTV who also owns BET had to do the same two months after. However, MTV was kind enough to play the video after a certain time only, limiting its chance for the music video to gain recognition however. This is the same network that plays Wacka Flacka and Lil wayne with no hesitation. Despite the negative impact on BET. The song's music video became a Youtube sensation with many dancers and became a viral hit.
Many people may wonder why I didn't put "Work" or "Gimmie Dat" on here. To me while those songs were EPIC, they don't necessarily scream "Classic".
