My album preorder arrived a day early 
The album is amazing, of course. I'm currently wearing my t-shirt, drooling over the album booklet, and weeping over the loss of my poster, which was destroyed en route to my place.

It's newly recorded/remastered versions of stuff on Forever If Ever, plus a couple of new tracks.
He released Forever If Ever independently, so when he was signed to Razor and Tie, they redid a lot of it and recorded new stuff too.

Some of them. They sound much more professionally mixed... Forever If Ever was kind of raw, I thought, and a lot of the lower sounds all just blended together. Everything is extraordinarily crisp on the new record

Yes, a lot of them sound much better than Forever If Ever. They're much crisper. I don't know how to describe it, exactly, but you can hear every note and every instrument in this mix, whereas on Forever If Ever, some of the background music all blended together.

Now to track down the various bonus tracks 
I wish I'd known that the Best Buy version would be significantly cheaper than the preorder.

My favorite new song would be "Falling" but the part where he sings "You don't know how she does it / all you know is you freaking love it!" is so cheesy... I grimace every time. I know he's a good Christian and all... but "****ing" would sound so much better than "freaking"

Just listened and I like it! I'm definitely gonna download it. BUT I hate it when musicians do that hidden track thing in their last song. Oh well.
My favorite tracks were Promising Promises, Summer is Over, The Atmosphere, I'll Follow You, If Only I, and These Crazy Times

Prooooobably actually.  Download is pretty ambiguous anyway, but I always like to buy from artists that aren't big. Did that with Vows yesterday.
