I'm not bothered by the pompousness; other pop stars have said much worse. It's just that in some ways she does, and in others she doesn't. I'm not sure I understand what talent she's asserting she represents. If it's singing/performing, then perhaps I'd agree.

She's talented. But she should have phrased it differently. It comes off extremely cocky. And she's only a talented musician.. there's other ways this generation can be talented.

If she had said.. "I represent tis generation's artistry or work ethic" I'd back her 100%.

You're right.

If it were anyone else (☂), I would've expected it from them and turned a blind eye but the above comment/s came from a woman with the highest class of any other current female artist and one of which has openly spoke of her own Mother having ago at her (when she broke into the industry) to always remain grounded; it just doesn't seem to suit her image.

Whatever though, I'm over it.
