I remember when she had buzz around her like Lana Del Rey or Azealia Banks do now. ATRL used to be here for her, but she released a lot of pretty generic, uninteresting music. "Turnin' Me On" and "Knock You Down" were as close as she got to releasing a great pop/urban track.

I love her. People don't like her cause she don't worship Beyonce. Her first album was great and her music is a lot better than these so called it girls of music.
Hey Atrl, Guess What ? I'm black and large and in charge.
She was never really an it girl.By the time she came out (Summer 07-Summer 08) ,Rihanna was still pretty much the "it girl" at the time.Keri Hilson did have potential with Energy being an urban single but, right after Turnin Me Off came out, things went DOWNHILL and she became the butt of all jokes.

Not even shading anyone in particular, but I'm convinced if you put a green wig and cute pumps on an inanimate object and gave it one Top 40 Dr. Luke or RedOne single, you will see threads praising and stanning for it, comparing it to Michael Jackson and how they're slayed by its good personality
