I think Syco was afraid of the competition that week, tbh. Connor Maynard and J.Lo/Flo Rida were releasing on the same day. It sucks and I'm pissed, but at least their team is hell bent on making them a success.

The single release has now been officially pulled back till 19th August. But first performance of the single will be at the T4OTB as scheduled.

Thats still the plan, but now there is only a two month gap between singles

Syco is clearly taking a revised One Direction route with them. First single will be released August 19, and the second will likely be out the week of the album release in November right towards the end of X-Factor when ratings are at it's highest.

This is a UK act. It's not like they are gonna need time for Wings to build, it's gonna debut at #1 or never hit it. The hype from Wings will die down around October and then the hype can build for the second single. As annoyed as I am that it's been delayed, it's honestly for the best. Syco seems hell-bent on making sure Little Mix smashes, so they're not going to do anything to jeopardize it (yet).

On a better note - the girls hired Frank Gatson (the former Creative Director of En Vogue and Beyonce) for the Wings video so I'm sure it'll be nothing short of flawless.
