The Dark Knight is clearly the better film. One film is geared
toward adults and the other film is geared toward children.

I really like both but I think TDK is a little overrated and preferred The Avengers.

Heath Ledgers performance as The Joker was absolutely incredible though.

TDK is greater but The Avengers was pretty solid The Avengers 2 is gonna **** on everything if it goes the way I expect after seeing the sneak peak at the end of the 1st one

Anyway getting back on topic. I love TDK mostly for Heath Ledger but I loved nearly all of the characters in The Avengers. I was shocked when I saw Cobie Smulders in it. I love her on HIMYM

Is it just me, or is this an unfair comparison? The Avengers and The Dark Knight are two COMPLETELY different films. The Dark Knight is a legitimately fantastic crime drama, while The Avengers is an awesome comic book coming to life. Both films are awesome for different reasons, and both films offer wholly different experiences. Comparing the two is like comparing Heat to the 1989 Batman.

First of all, Spider-Man 2 is the greatest superhero movie of all time.

Second of all, The Dark Knight was well-acted, and the story is nice and all, but there are definitely some flaws that people refuse to acknowledge.
