Drag Me To Hell is an amazing film, although i can't tell if it is serious or is trying for those comical moments

I am really getting into all these French movies like Inside,High Tension etc.
For some reason they **** all over American films.
Maybe because you really start to feel with the character... in American horror movies the characters are always so dumb and horny you are happy when they finally die 
Does anyone know more good new wave french horror movies?

Watched The Strangers the other day... Probably one of the scariest movies I've ever seen!
And Drag Me to Hell is probably the worst movie I've ever seen!

And i was NOT expecting that in the last episodes. So many twists. I kind of figured who the killer was 1 episode before he/she was revealed. Still shocked though.
I would love the idea of having more seasons, with the same cast, and each season there would be a different killer and a different motivation, different and more gruesome murders, but similar plot.

I loved High Tension... I'm watching a french horror right now called 5150 Elms Way... its not bad

Try Martyrs (the best of them) and Frontiers. I agree with you.
The original version of The Strangers is much better.

They should make Harper's Island like American Horror Story tbh 
Each season with almost the same cast, but a different story, a different killer, a different setting.
I absolutely LOVED the cast.
My favorites were Trish, the blond couple(THEY WERE HILARIOUS), Abby, Henry and Shay

Cal & Chloe... how can you not love them? They were so great. Their deaths 
I loved Trish, Henry, and Shay when she wasn't being a terrible mother 
Really the only characters I never got were Beth and Katherine the step-mom... they were always just kind of "there" hahaha.

DMTH is such weird movie, I didn't know if I had to laugh or being scared, some scenes where **** tbh.
Btw yesterday I remember about Pumpkinhead, I don't know if any of you watched that movie but it *****!!

It totally would, if the show was more well known  the only thing that bothered me was that they both fell on their backs but in the water they were on their stomachs hahaha
