What categories would they win in? TEOG maybe deserved Best Pop Vocal Performance, but that means that every other song but BTW or Judas would not have won a Grammy. And neither of those songs deserved Best Dance Recording.
TEOG was handled so poorly for such an epic song. Chosen as a promo single, ****** video, and no Grammy submission. I mean

You and I - Classy, catchy, and a perfect mix of Pop country and other genres
Born This Way - catchy production and more importantly was able to mix its influential bold content into a club banger
