Musically, she still inspires many people.(as seen with all the dubstep flavored songs/albums that came out after "Hold It Against Me").

Image wise? Not anymore because what's trendy, right now, is to be edgy and wearing outrageous costumes and Britney is pretty standard, in that regard.

If you are talking about the general public then I would say

1) Britney from 1999-2004
2) Rihanna 2007-present
3) Nicki Minaj...i've seen dem pink wigs and the look alot
4) Beyonce 2003-2009 she doesn't have the many looks but there are definitely teen girls that copy her look
5) no1curr about the rest.

In terms of the industry
I don't see Katy copying Britney but I have seen all the mentioned artist copy her in either their videos, performances, music, etc.

There are too many youtube videos of it and I am not even bothered to post them.

Because there would be no list...Madonna is the obvious choice.

At least with this one you have new artists and seasoned artists...some copy others on the list also...I'm surprised Gaga isn't on there but I think this is actually a tough choice.

That's not even the most of it...
Ppl have copied britney's videos, performances, image (playing the good girl/bad girl side whether simultaneously or being one way on camera and more provocative in concert). You either had to be good girl Janet, Whitney or the raunchy/provocative girl Madonna. Britney was the first major female artist to truly play both sides and WIN. You see a slew of girls doing it more and not keeping themselves in one box. Also, her videos, performances, image and ability to be ahead of the curve when it comes to popularizing a different sound for most of her album eras. The list of artists that have not taking from the Britney formula is way shorter than the list acknowledging it.

Kii...at this moment girls might not be influenced by Britney image wise but to act like 1999-2004 image wise didn't exist and musically 1999-present. In POP music, beyonce is not influencing many. Most consider her r&b lite in the pop world and many consider her pop in the urban world. 4 went more back to her urban routes which was a good move.
