Chart Notes:
One Direction gets a 3rd song to hit #1. Tell Me a Lie has hit #1 5 times, and Moments hit #1 back in Week 3. What Makes You Beautiful would have been a multi-week #1 back earlier this year before this chart existed.
Frank Ocean and P!nk both make their chart debuts. I bet you didn't expect God Is a DJ to be the song to debut and not Blow Me (One Last Kiss) Did ya?
This week marks the week with the most former or current #1's on the chart at once. Wide Awake, Tell Me a Lie, Give Your Heart a Break and One Thing all have hit #1.
X-Factor makes it's presence known this week, with Britney, Demi, and One Direction X2 all on the chart.
One Direction has spent a total of 7 weeks at #1, by far the most of any artist.
If you haven't listened to the Honorable Mentions I would suggest it as all 3 are amazing songs.
Prior to The State of Dreaming being released on iTunes, I thought it might be a multi-week #1 since it had charted once just off of Youtube plays. But now it's already fallen off after just 3 weeks total.
Crystal Ball:
I could see either God Is a DJ hitting #1, or possibly an old song. I don't see One Thing holding on to #1 again, but I don't expect it to fall off completely. Underneath Your Clothes might finally hit #1.
