Oh, I see what your saying. And yeah, but I can see it doing more than 50M but we'll see.

 WOO HOO!
Slightly OT: I am going tonight with my little sister, who isn't a KP fan. She said the trailer looked good though. So excited! Maybe she'll even convert to a KatyCat after it

Are American tests like super easy Compared to the UK or something? Or perhaps we're super dumb. I would've completely and utterly failed almost every single one of my 8 Uni modules with that system, cracking a C twice. here I got 3 As and a bunch of Bs!
On topic, this movie was brilliant. Gutted about the absence of Circle The Drain though.

I have never taken an UK test so I wouldn't know sure, but getting an A isn't really hard so probably.

Predictions from BoxOfficeMojo:
Quote:
At 2,730 locations, Katy Perry: Part of Me aims to draw Katy Perry's legion of young female fans to the movie theater. This strategy worked well for distributor Paramount's Insurge label last year when Justin Bieber: Never Say Never debuted to $29.5 million on its way to a $73 million total. Other successful concert movies in the past few years include Michael Jackson's This Is It ($23.2 million debut) and Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour ($31.1 million opening), though there are also recent duds from the Jonas Brothers ($19.2 million total) and Glee ($11.9 million total). Katy Perry is popular enough that her movie will avoid the Jonas Brothers problem, though she's not quite as "of the moment" as Bieber or Hannah Montana were at the time of their movies. There's also frankly more competition for Katy Perry in the Summer than Bieber had in February, with Spider-Man and Brave both doing strong business with young women. Paramount is predicting low-to-mid teens for the movie over its first four days (it opens on Thursday).
5. Katy Perry - $13.5 million ($19 million four-day)
Bar for Success: "Katy Perry: Part of Me" needs around $20 million for the four-day start to be included in the upper-echelon of concert movies

Apparently it's looking to do 2.5-3M today as of earlier according to an e-mail sent to a user here. Not sure how reliable it is, even still she's doing great for Thursday.

Katy Perry: Part of Me: 77%

A.O. Scott (The New York Times):
There are several reasons that Katy Perry: Part of Me is more interesting than similar movies about Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. Most simply, she just has more talent than any of them, and her songs have a wider emotional range.

Just like everything else in her career, since day one, she's proving people wrong. Queen

Those critics are just movie ones. The music critics still are not here for Katy.

Is it really true that the movie only had one full performance which was Firework?
And the other songs wasn't even finished in full?

According to people on here, yes. Most of the performances has the second verse cut.

That is for sure a really big disappointment.
I can't imagine TD, CG, ET, LFN and her other great singles not being finished in full. That's just so disappointing.
