Eurodance (also known as Eurohouse, Eurotechno and Euro-NRG) is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in the late 1980s primarily in Europe. It combines many elements from house, techno, Hi-NRG (especially Eurobeat) and especially Eurodisco. Starting in the early 1990s and continuing to the present day, Eurodance production continues to evolve with a more modernized style that incorporates elements from trance and techno music.
Some notable Eurodance artists include La Bouche, Deejay, CeCe, Corona, Culture Beat etc.
