Timeline: Shakira working with producers for new album
Shakira is preparing her new English album TBA, which will be released in 2012 according to her new management Roc Nation.
TIMELINE:
June 2011
Shakira hires Venus X to send her weekly newsletters with current underground sounds.
January - February 2012
Shakira has sessions with producers Max Martin, Dr. Luke, RedOne, Tďesto and Benny Blanco.
February 29th 2012
Shakira hits the studio with LMFAO, RedOne and Akon.
March 25th 2012
Shakira records with producers Fernando Garibay and songwriter Sia.
March 26th 2012
Shakira hits the studio with producer Ester Dean.
March 27th 2012
Pitbull reveals a song called 'Get It Started' with Shakira that they are working on for his album.
March 28th 2012
Shakira hits the studio with producers The Runners.
March 29th 2012
Anthony Mandler directs Shakira's music video for 'Addicted to You', last single from Sale el Sol.
May 1st - May 3rd 2012
Skrillex goes to Barcelona to work with Shakira and produce for her.

I'm excited. Obviously Shakira is an amazing songwriter, but I'm happy she's letting others write/co-write for her.

This record really will smash. I feel Roc Nation's big budgets really doing something for her level of quality.

We don't really know, maybe lead single between June and September and album between October and November. It all depends on their strategy.

I get the feeling she produced most the demos herself, and that's what she was doing last year - and then last month she got all these producers involved in doing the actual songs. And she's very hands on anyway, so yeah - I think she'll stay true to herself.
