Has anyone read City of Lost Souls yet?
I'm about halfway through it. I love it! It's a lot better than City of Fallen Angels.

Been sooo busy that I haven't gotten to read it as much as I want but I'm at the part where Clary just had the Jace/Sebastian dream. The book is great so far. Also did u catch the minor mention of Tessa? I also love how every character has something important to add to the overall story. Flawless so far.

Was it the thing with the female warlock?
I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be her or not. DX
It probably wasn't since Tessa was just a shapechanger and not a spell caster. Maybe I'm thinking of something completely different. DX

Yep. Plus, remember when Cassandra said this? Clary got her protection spell from a warlock we all know People probably assumed it was Magnus (which it was) but it was also probably Tessa. We have no idea how much her powers have manifested at this point. I'm pretty sure she's gonna play a big part in the final MI book also, can't wait for that.

Hmmm. Also very true.
I'm really hoping it was her, but because I love all the crosses the two series's have. So far, I've noticed quite a few.

Yup, the whole thing with Camille, Church the cat, Magnus of course, and the whole Will/Alec/Magnus drama. I love how Cassandra connects the two books yet they are still separate and can be read individually.

Omg. I didn't get to that part yet. How cute.
I will say, the very first scene almost made me cry the way Simon's mom rejected him. I felt so horrible for him. Ugh, let me go read it now. These books are like drugs for me.

It's so good. I was afraid this book would fall flat the way 90% of City of Fallen Angels did (though, that one got good towards the end), but it's surprisingly much better.

They're in the process of casting Magnus and Simon.
And Shannon Kook (Zane from Degrassi) auditioned for Magnus which excites me very much. The more I see him, the more perfect he looks.
He kind of has a baby face, but when you think about it, Magnus is immortal, so it makes sense. And he also took a bunch of pictures as Magnus which I think was so awesome.
I'm really rooting for this guy. I hope he gets it.
As for Simon, they said Logan Lerman didn't audition. ;___;
But it's okay. I just hope they cast him well.

Robert Sheehan was just cast as Simon Lewis!!!
He's from Misfits. I assume he's doing an American accent for the film since Simon is American and all.
