So, since Birthday Cake is clearly the Urban single right now, I think it'd only be smart that with summer approaching, that there would be a follow up sent to Urban radio, especially since WHYB will be released to Pop for the summer. Which song should Def Jam send to Urban?

I think both Cockiness and WnL could work, but I'd say the former, since WnL has more potential to be a mult-format hit where as Cockiness would definitely be limited to just Urban radio

I don't want it, but I see Watch n' Learn being a Pop/Urban single closely after WHYB. Probably around July/August.

That was one of the first tracks recorded for TTT, and Rih seems to favor it.

And that's the fact of the matter. Birthday Cake receives some urban adds off of hype and people assume it's a single.

A) WHYB would flop on Urban radio.
B)Because her songs don't appeal to all formats, she's only had a few multi-format hits.

Urban radio tend to not like playing generic songs, so they wouldn't play WHYB. She can try sending the song to urban radio if she wants, but they won't play it much.

They'd love Cockiness though. That'd be massive on those stations.

Cockiness is too attention drawing to
be an urban only single. It shouldn't even be a single at all because we've already had our **** anthem for the era. The best bet for an urban single is Watch n Learn but she really needs to focus on just one single.

I have stanned for Watch n' Learn since the second it leaked, so I will obviously go with that. I think it's one of her most mature song to date and so perfectly crafted. Urban would eat it up.
