I don't really see physical singles at Music stores... ...ever. Do people still buy physical singles? How much of single sales is digital? How much of digital single sales is iTunes?

I honestly don't understand the idea of buying a cd or a cassette just for one song instead of getting the entire album.

They don't sell singles in music stores here in my country so i did not expect how much people here put importance on sales of the singles. But even if they were available here, I wouldn't buy them

Physical singles are still very popular in Japan, and some countries in Europe, too. They're largely unavailable for current releases in America, though.

I remember when I use to be able to buy physical singles here. Use to be able to get them anywhere for like $5.

however, they don't sell physical singles here anymore. only albums.

I rarely buy singles. But the last one that I bought was Jack White's 'Love Interruption' on a 7". And I regret nothing.

i've actually seen singles once in a while @ my local store...nothing tooo recent (or desirable for that matter ) but there nevertheless
