Well, Emeli Sande didn't even get a speech, so Adele wasn't the only one who received terrible treatment from the Brits.
I don't believe it was sexism, but I do find the Brits to be very unorganized. Yeah, it's TV and there is time constraint, so why did Blur get a 55-minute speech, yet the biggest artist of the year who won the biggest award of the night & this year's Brit's Critics Choice winner were not allowed proper speeches (or in Emeli's case - any speech at all)? It should be more organized like the Grammys where the time is counting down on the teleprompter and when the music comes on, it's time for the winner to finish up his or her speech. None of this would have happened if the Brits were more organized.
