Yes I remember her talking about it in 2010... but nothing since so I kinda figured the shelved that because of the huge year she had in 2011! I highly doubt they're gonna waste time releasing a spanish album with the huge success she had in 2011!

I doubt that. Remember how critics actually took her seriously with Como? In the singing department? And with Q'Viva, I wouldn't have a doubt in my mind she's doing latin music.
