Welcome to my Weekly Top 10 Countdown!
So there are a few things I should go over before we get started...
1. At this point in time, my intention is to update
every Saturday. However, as time goes on, I intend to reevaluate whether or not that's working for me, in which case I may consider moving my updates to a different day.
2. This countdown is for my weekly 10 most played tracks; I'm not setting any type of rule regarding when the track was released or whether or not it was a single. I have a tendency to listen to album tracks more than singles, and I want this list to accurately reflect the songs I'm listening to, not the songs that are currently on the Hot 100. Along these same lines, I have a tendency to listen to old music, dating back to the 1990s and perhaps even earlier. Again, I want this list to accurately reflect what I'm currently listening to, regardless of how current (or not) a particular song is.
3. For anyone who may comment here at any point, if you have your own personal weekly countdown, let me know and I'll follow it as closely as possible and comment when/ if I can.
4. Regarding commenting:
"7/10" = not enough
"7/10 'Song Title'
" = acceptable
"I love 'Song Title'
" = acceptable
"
5 paragraph essay about why I'm crazy for liking a song" = acceptable
Basically, as long as you post something more than "7/10," I'll be happy!
