I was very impressed too. Tho it was obvious Pironkova got to a bit bad start in the 3rd set and then lost most of her confidence. Next round should be easy for Maria.
I was happy to see Serena getting through easily, but she could really use a tougher match too. Her groundstrokes don't seem quite effective enough yet.

It'll get effective as soon as she comes out against a good player. Actually I would rather see her play great players and not small fry because she usually underestimates them and...crashes out
