If you're a big fan of Hingis, you wouldn't insult her by comparing Radwanska to her . I see the similarities definitely, but Hingis was so much better.

True Serena isn't playing near her peak and it could be a surprise tomorrow. But if she's serving like she has been all tournament, there is NO WAY Agnieszka is getting a game off of Serena's serve. And Radwanska's serve is one of the weaker parts of her game so it'll be a challenge to hold. I definitely do not see her losing at all Saturday, unless the serve leaves her

But Radwanska plays pretty much the same game as Hingis 2006/2007. It's just a fact. Of course Hingis 1997-2001 was way better, but both of their games are based on 0 UE and making the opponent uncomfortable.

This. Huber is a fat cheater so I hope they destroy her. I loved it when Cara Black and Liezel were number 1 and the Williams Sisters killed them every time they played. It wasn't even close

I would say Radwanska's game is based off of 0 UE. Hingis was more of an all around type of game, 0 UE meant she was on fire but she also takes the ball early and could generate winners from seemingly defensive positions. I'm not sure if Radwanska could do that yet

I definitely agree Hingis was way better at hitting winners. But peak Radwanska can also hit some brilliant shots when you think she's already lost the point, her FH CC passing shot in particular.

No two players are exactly the same, but of all the players in the current top 100, the only one that even slightly resembles Hingis is Radwanska.

Oh then I definitely agree they are most alike. It should be an interesting matchup tomorrow with probably the best defender on tour (on par with Wozniacki) and the most aggressive player on tour (except for an in-form Kvitova on grass) going at it. I actually think this'll go to 3 sets and I expect a Williams win . Whoever wins though will get my support

I love Serena too so in the end for me it doesn't matter. I'd be thrilled if she ties Venus's number of Wimbledon wins. Then if she also wins Olympic gold in singles, she'll have tied or bettered all of the relevant career statistics.

Looks like it's all going to be about consistency.

Radwanska lacked power but her placements are great so she needs to be cruel and insanely fast when returning before her opponent could react. Serena needs to be consistent with her serves but considering she waltz through this whole tournament, her confidence must be at it's all time high.

You know some of that is fluff. Like when Agnieszka said early in the tournament "Venus should be seeded because she could definitely win this or another GS tournament." . Every damn person in the world knows Venus is done when it comes to Grand Slams so what she said was merely to be kind to legends, fluff. Aggie will be just like Zheng tbh. Both are great movers and will track down every ball but the difference is that Serena will be so much better since she has her movement as well.
