Yeah, you're correct, but it would be like the 'traditional' way... She wouldn't be already a star with her first album, but by now, I think she would already be who she is today - what is kind of funny, it would take like 15 years lol. We would have way more material, imagine, 7/8 albums lol

Meh..
She could of been a LeAnn Rimes though, Really successful at such a young age.. & flopping left, right and centre as she grows.
I'm glad she became famous the way she did, I think if she were to win a season before or later she wouldn't of been as big as she is now. It was perfect the season she won because she was the first Country American Idol.

With remixes it's possible
Anyway i really hope her label makes it available for AirPlay at those other formats, that's how you get extra exposure other than Country audience

Sometimes I think the whole "take her to the next level" has something to do with remixes. I mean, UI was sent to pop stations in Australia and RM got a remix - even though it flopped and it's Brad's song, I believe Carrie must have had something with it.

I know Carrie wants to stay loyal to country and yatty yatty yata yata, but there's nothing wrong with sending a remixed version to Pop & Adult Pop. She'll gain more fans and heck, they may end up enjoying the country version better!

Exactly this!!! I mean look at me, if NYN had not crossed over to Pop, AC and Hot AC i would have never listened to it, and i've never started stanning for Lady A! That's the way to get more fans, i don't see nothing wrong with that

I think she keeps thinking that one of her singles will naturally crossover like BHC did.
Thing is no song on CR had a chance & the only single on PO that had a chance was CC and even then it was still to country for most pop stations.
