Has Obama Been A Good President?
To avoid arguments I'm not going to state my opinion. But has he lived up to expectations and does he deserve a chance at re-election?

Good, not great. He didn't make big improvements minus Osama and a few social advancements but he didn't **** things up like everyone was worried about. The economy is improving (not booming, but it's better than it was 3 years ago) and he hasn't made terrible mistakes. He got us to a decent place, and the question now is he able to get us at a great place if elected again. So yes, a good one. Not great, but good. I'm interested to see how he does if elected again.

He hasn't been good or bad. He's just kind of there. I think he'll be re-elected because none of the Republican candidates seem strong enough.
Michelle, on the other hand, is amazing. She's done such a great job.

Yes and I hope he gets re-elected. I think he could get a lot more done if he had 8 years to work on everything. Him ending the war and having Osama Bin Laden killed are probably 2 of the biggest factors pushing people to vote for him.

Given the horrible state of the country that he was given, he has done fine considering the circumstances.
And I hope he wins the reelection. I would much prefer him than ANY Republican. Period.

Have you felt that he failed his public expectations? There were a lot around his original selection. But has he lived up to his quotes / promises? I think that's the biggest question here.

He's been fine. I'm not too involved in politics to have any real complaints. Although that Jobs Bill was a mess. Anyways....he's been doing fine. He was brought us to a better place than we were in back in 2008.

The fact that the economy is improving will probably help him come election time.
The Republican candidates.

I agree. Nobody has made a positive impact.

But to the public, I dont think he lived up to his expectation.
(I remember when he was announced president, and my friends started saying how he was so awesome and were like worshipping him. But whenever they saw Obama make a "mistake", they would criticize the **** out of him. )

Does any President ever live up to there quotes or promises? I mean they are all politicians and politicians exaggerate and lie all the time. Obama was not an exception. So I mean I wasn't expecting him to live up to what he said back in the election. Has Obama done anything as to investing in alternative fuels? Just curious. I remember he said he would in the election.

Obama inherited a mess and did O.K. all things considered.
The Good: Obamacare.
The Bad: The National Defense Authorization Act.
The Ugly: Extending the Bush tax cuts therefore eliminating any leverage he may have had when it came to negotiating the debt ceiling.

It honestly depends on where you fall on the political spectrum. I feel he's done a satisfactory job. On domestic issues he's prevented our economy from collapsing, saved the auto industry, passed landmark healthcare legislation among other things. He's handled our National Security very well by expanding upon some of the policies started by the Bush Administration. His foreign policy has been positive as well, taking out multiple high-ranking terrorist leaders, killing Osama Bin Laden, bringing home our troops.
I was confident when I voted for him in 2008. I will once again cast my vote for him in 2012. If the Mitt Romney I admired when he was governor of Mass was running for President, I might be swayed to vote for him. Unfortunately the Romney of 2012 is not the moderate I supported in the past.

He is doing just fine. His is definitely in for a re-election viewing the Republican candidates up for the position. He'll have the advantage of debate and the improvement of the economy during these last years.

Not sure, there's a lot of responsibility. I don't think he handled the deepwater horizon incident very well. But then again, I'm unsure on his level of influence.
