Heavy and dark? Living Dead is such a dark song altogether. It got a bit "lighter" in the finalized version, but it's still dark. Almost disco. And Living Dead isn't that commercial. Neither is Lies. The more "popstep" (Pop song with that randomass dubstep breakdown) thing is popular, but raw-ish dubstep (Honestly, Lies is more dubstep than any of the commercial songs that are popular now) is not. Power & Control is a more clubby single.

It's much closer to dubstep than HIAM, YDO, Gang Bang, etc.............. And if you haven't noticed, it is mostly dubstep, not a mainly pop song with a random dubstep breakdown in it.

Do we reckon there's a song called "Beauty Queen"? It's one of the Archetpyes and she seems to have written a song for each one so it makes sense.

I had been thinking about this for a long time actually... and I was surprised that no lyric of this popped up on the album. I'm almost 100% sure that there has to be an album-reject like this with these lyrics. Or maybe just scrapped lyrics.

I finally gave this album a listen, and I think it's pretty good.

The best tracks are 'The Lonely Hearts Club', 'Buy the Stars', 'Sex Yeah' and 'The State of Dreaming'.

I don't use 'Teen Idle', 'Living Dead' and 'Fear and Loathing'

My favourite track is 'Lies'. It's my most played (by about double of the next most played ), and it get's me so emotional, tbh. The intensity, depth, and delivery of this track really gets to me. This is one of the first albums where it's taken me a week or so to figure out my favourite track; usually I figure out my favourite track on an album on the 3rd play or so. That's how amazing this album is, that every track was my favourite at some point and I really had to let time filter out the "lessors" (which this album doesn't really have).

I think Power & Control is obviously trying to keep the tempo up after Primadonna. I reckon the next two singles will be Lies and Starring Role, which will obviously slow things down. I think P&C is a good single choice, its upbeat and it will stand out on the radio. I think it could go Top 20 for Marina!
