I can't at 3DS' first 2 days outselling Vita's with a ****** launch line-up, in march and at the same price. Vita being out at the best selling month for videogames, with a stronger line-up and still not being able to beat it.

Promotion for the Vita has been minimal compared to Nintendo w/ 3DS. I read something on IGN saying that it'll more than likely perform higher than the 3DS in the US, also. I hope the Vita under-performs though so they drop the price to $160 like they did with the 3DS so I can get my paws on one.

It may not be highly promoted in the US (because it's still 2 months away from launch) but it is in Japan and still bombing in DECEMBER

What do you mean? Call me back when smartphones can play videogames like Uncharted 3, mario Kart or MvC3.

It is Vita what's flopping, not the handheld industry considering 3DS is selling like hot cakes.
