LtWYL stuck around for too long as it was, I don't think the public would take kindly to having to endure the second part for another x number of weeks.
I'm not hating on the song, either of the songs, it's just that I know my friends and I would groan whenever it came on the radio after a while. It was so over-played.

i think LTWYL 2 is better (by a long shot) then the original, but i don't think the general public, who was more addicted to the original, would like the release of LTWYL 2

Uhm. It's a great song, but doesn't/didn't need to be released as a single, and it has nothing to do with part 1 being better or worse.
