Mariah Carey‘s new single “Triumphlop (Flop ‘Em)” makes a disastrous debut on the charts this week, coming at No. 15 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under chart. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the charts, that’s the equivalent of No. 115 on the Hot 100.
To further put the level of this phloppage into perspective, Beyonce’s "4" bonus cut “Dance For You” is currently higher than Mariah at No. 11.
“Triumphlop” shifted 23,000 downloads in its first week, which means that Mariah has less than 23,000 lambs left in America if you factor in that most of them would have purchased the song multiple times.

The only reason Dance For You is higher in the charts is because it's getting rhythmic airplay atm I think.
I don't see why people keep laughing at such songs flopping though. Of course they will, since they're urban. Same reason why Keri Hilson, Beyonce, Nelly Furtado, Ciara, etc flop. Even Lady Gaga would flop if she released an urban song.

Taylor has to have that number one on lock. She just might break the number of points for a number one song at #1!
And the fact that she will only have one number one after this is kind of weird considering her digital strength, but she has never aligned her digital and AirPlay like this.

Taylor still has a 45% lead over Whistle, it has #1 on lock , however I don't know if it could hold on there.

This has been lingering outside the Top 10 for ages. I remember MusicTalker posting about it months ago.

Too Close needs to go Top 10 and dethrone Taylor before Fun., Flo or M5.
