Sony's THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN netted $341.2M worldwide, including $140M domestically in 6 days.

Good numbers for a reboot but a bit disappointing for SPIDER-MAN and for its $220M budget. Better than BATMAN reboot #s.

@ERCboxoffice She's no Bieber. Katy Perry's 3D doc, PART OF ME, debuted #8 on the charts w/ just $7.1M.

After 3 years of nonstop TD promo, 2 BILLION radio AI in the US alone and a very aggressive promotional campaign by Paramount including "divorce tell-all" interviews, the studio's hopes of beating Bieber's $29M opening were dashed. In fact it did ~ HALF of Jonas Brothers 3D despite playing on over TWICE as many screens.
