Omg no!!! lol. I don't want any lyrical songs in the movie. I think that would ruin it. I hope the whole thing is scored.
They say that the soundtrack is like the Alice in Wonderland one. It's just a companion, but not for the actual film--though, some of the songs were played in the credits. Which I'm totally okay with.
I really hope that's true. This isn't the type of film that I can see lyrical songs working for. Scoring is the way to go. Like Harry Potter, for example. Had there been a lyrical song anywhere near that film, it would have been ruined.
This is just my opinion though. lol. Don't get me wrong, I really like the song. I just don't think anything of the sort should be in the film. The only singing I want to hear is from Jennifer Lawrence.

Trust me, there's time. The movie comes out in about a month. I promise that you will tear through those books in 2 weeks tops. They're short and SO good!

You know, I actually like that these books are getting so popular now. I didn't think I would, but I do. Our fandom is so much bigger now.

I really don't know about everyone else, but I would rather have an entire cast that looks nothing like the descriptions, but can act the parts perfectly than have people who fit the physical description and totally ruin the character.
I'm just happy they managed to do both for this film. Just because they don't look identical to what we pictured, doesn't mean anything. Jennifer, Josh and Liam all dyed their hair to at least look more like their characters. Josh bulked up to look more stocky. Jennifer trained like crazy to lose weight. Dayo and Alexander bulked up significantly. Maybe Jen doesn't look starving or her skin is too pale or maybe Gale isn't tan enough or maybe Foxface's eyes are blue instead of amber or Peeta's are hazel instead of blue or Prim's are brown and not blue or Haymitch is blond and not dark-haired...but who really cares? These people are going to bring our characters to life. If anyone can watch that trailer and still think these people are wrong for the part, we either didn't read the same book or didn't watch the same trailer. Because HOLY HELL those people can act and they FLAWLESSLY embody the characters we fell in love with in the books.

Ha! Well, I didn't want to bring Twilight back into this...but since you've mentioned it, yes. That is a perfect example!
They picked a cast that fit physical descriptions but couldn't really act their parts--which sucks, because there were some talented people on that cast. They just got put in the wrong film.

The first and second books are decent, but the writing gets messy in the third. Still, I'd recommend them; they're easy reads.
