"E.T." sold another 320k+ this past week, being #1 with a decent lead. Rihanna & Britney are now #1 with a lead, plus the original still selling high. If they can at least keep the lead through the week, they'll be selling more than 300k and that means Katy sales will see a fall. Let's not forget half a day of extra sales, too.
While not for sure, it's not tight.

It's going to be close. "E.T." has been getting massive airplay updates daily, I'm sure it will catch up "S&M" by next week, so don't count on that. It will come down to downloads and streaming points. Let's not forget the remix is being sold on iTunes only, and "E.T." is currently No. 1 on Rhapsody and Amazon. As I said, it's going to be close.
After all the trash talk, I just hope we don't have to eat our own words next week.

Nah, it'll peak. Today it got like a +.3 I believe. There's pretty much no more room to grow in Pop unfortunately. As long as the remix stays at #1 I'm thinking we're good.

But E.T. isn't going to maintain those updates forever, it's going to peak soon on Pop (AI-wise), not sure how well its doing on the other formats.
