According to my personal estimations Britney Spears has sold +140M records WW

I estimate: 73M albums sold
I estimate: 68M singles and tracks sold

definately more than 140M with modest numbers and without counting DVDS, Videos and ringtones.

Yeah but to be honest 90million albums look inflated.... I remember her own label made an official article stating she has sold 67million albums before the premiere of "Femme Fatale".

She has sold between 70-73M albums and definately more than 140M records which is great ....... in shipments figures could be higher though.

In 2004, she shipped 76M albums, ?? sold
In 2006, she shipped 83M albums, 62M sold
In 2011, she shipped 90M albums, 67M sold

Any updates sales on Circus (the single)? I know it was 34k from going triple platinum from the update in June. Hopefully, with the help of X-Factor or Glee, it'll hit the mark.

RCA will NOT certify her albums or singles. you have to pay for certifications. certifications are also mostly based on shipments. they could have ALREADY been certified. it'll be a decade before those albums sell what you want them to sell.

Femme Fatale will not sell 1,000,000. it's at 750,000.
The Singles Collection will not sell 500,000. it's at 200,000
Britney will not sell 5,000,000. it's at 4,400,000 (BMG sales not included)
Circus will not sell 2,000,000. it's at 1,700,000

In The Zone already sold over 3 million copies but do you see it being "certified"? of course not. her team won't do it. Britney's singles also don't get certified. her last certified single was 'Piece of Me'.

The RIAA includes BMG Sales when accounting for Certifications, so Britney CAN be certified for 5x Platinum, Cahleb.

Only Soundscan doesn't include BMG sales.

Blackout sold over a million copies. they certified it on sales. and it's one of her most recent albums. In The Zone has yet to be certified. hose albums will NOT sell the amount you want them to be certified anytime soon. saying a discount will give 300k to The Singles Collection is silly.

Sis, you really spilling your emotions with that increased font. In actuality, all of.the albums are eligible for certs. Albums don't.have to sell the exact amount to be certified. I never said that the discounts would get ppl to purchase. 300k more of tsc...they didn't even purchase 300k of the original. The discounts would increase sales making it a stronger possibility for cert upgrades. Keeping in mind that blackout took 5 years to be certified and ff took months to be certified platinum. Anything is possible for cert upgrades but yes you continue being bothered and as those albums eventuallly get reupped.on certs you will have to deal...lol.

Exactly most albums in the 90s had music sales (shania, mariah, Whitney, bsb, Britney etc.)
I just need.the albums that are most eligible to be certified first then eventually we.canget the.others done.
Good on Rca, getting an album that they didn't release 5 years ago certified.
1) in the zone needs to be certified 3x platinum first
2) britney needs to be certified 5x platinum second
Then we have
3) circus to certify 2x platinum
4) the singles collection to.certify gold.
