Anyway, at the moment she might be considered local but there's potential for that to change. This is the first era where she's attempted to branch out Internationally and she's doing pretty well for a primarily 'local' artist - selling out the Royal Albert Hall in the UK in a few hours is no mean feat and her Australian shows have sold so well she added another date in Sydney. I suspect we'll see her announce further International dates at some stage, perhaps for some Asian countries.
Her new album debut at #4 on the ARIA charts in Australia (her highest yet) and #1 in Canada. The album has its own official release dates for the UK and Japan.
She's gaining traction outside of the US and Canada. Hopefully other nations get on board, she deserves it. And maybe it'll make certain individuals eat their own words
