If Beatles & MJ could pass 5 songs each, now I hope at least 3 or 4 songs from LedZep.

See? Now you're catching on to how I do things.
Song of the Moment
Volbeat - The Hangman's Body Count
I welcome the rain
And as you walk the final top
They will start to dark my past
Nothing counting in this world
See the valley turn to darkness on your way

If the Beatles and MJ do indeed lead the pack (pure speculation ), I could see Queen right behind with 4. They already have 2 on the list, after all. And they definitely have at least 1 song left that was surely placed near the top of many ballots (my own ballot included).

Not as impressive of a set, but still decent.
I dunno what's up with My All though. It doesn't belong here at all. Mimi has like at least 10 songs more acceptable to be on this list.

I didn't realize My All was so unpopular. I like it. Definitely NOT Mariah's best song, though. I hope she has at least one other song on the list.

Surprised at My All being there.
Request for Red, Can you put the year of each song when they were released, please?
Does your Teenage Dream album still smell like cotton candy?

I planned on busting that out around the top 50 or so, to give the top 50 added weight, but I can always do so sooner, if others want this added.

"Thunder Road" and "My All" are really great songs.
"We Are The Champions" should be higher.

ATRL's Top 100 Songs of the 20th Century: 85-81
We are nearly twenty songs through this wild ride. Why not GET to twenty right now?

Points: 46
Ballots: 2
Highest Ranking: #1 (J03Y)
"ANNIE, ARE YOU OKAY?!" Serious question, I'm wondering if Annie is okay. And no, I'm not wondering if Annie is a wookie. Get it right, people who don't know the lyrics. The first of four songs to include Michael Jackson in some form, "Smooth Criminal" still has one of the most awesome videos ever, but it also has quite the iconic song to go along with it.

Points: 47
Ballots: 2
Highest Ranking: #2 (Crazytowel)
Well, that was quick. Just six spots after making the list for the first time, Mary J. Blige makes the list for the second (and last) time with (arguably) her most well-known single, and the song that broke her through to the big time, "Real Love". I definitely enjoy this song, and it's just so thoroughly 90's that it basically exudes nostalgia.

Points: 49
Ballots: 2
Highest Ranking: #5 (caleb.)
Remember how I said that Aerosmith still hasn't matched the brilliance of "Dream On"? Yeah, this song didn't either. And yet, here's Aerosmith's biggest single, a #1 smash hit from a soundtrack for a disaster movie. Go figure. This is the first song on the list that I'm just not a big fan of whatsoever. Still, I guess it's not hard to see why this song would be a big hit among both people in 1998 and people voting on this top 100.

Points: 49
Ballots: 2
Highest Ranking: #2 (Flashing Lights)
And now, we go from my least favorite song in this set to my favorite. Yes, my favorite. Something you may not know about me is that I'm kind of a Bee Gees fan, and not a bandwagon fan that fell in love with them after the deaths of Maurice or Robin. People just like to write off the Bee Gees for being a "disco group", but they made some of the most timeless music of the era, regardless of their genre. "How Deep Is Your Love" is absolutely timeless, for example, a song that is going to live on forever, because songs like these just do not get old. Ever.

Points: 49
Ballots: 3
Highest Ranking: #7 (Kool_Aid_King)
Boy, does this song make me nostalgic. I used to hear this song seemingly every day on the bus on the way to and from school in sixth grade. I used to hate this song for that very reason, because it would not leave my head for over a year, it seemed like. And yet, the beat remains among the most awesome of the latter half of the 90's, and this song went a long way toward establishing Timbaland as perhaps the go-to producer of the era.
Next time, we enter the top 80 with songs 80-76. HERE COMES THE TIDBITS!
- Four of the songs were released in the 70's, and the fifth was a song from the 60's that had its most success in the very beginning of the 70's.
- One artist that just appeared in this most recent set pops up here for the last time.
- Another artist from the set before this most recent set pops up here for the last time, as well.
- Another artist pops up from this most recent set in the 80-76 set...just not as they appeared here.
- The only appearance by two of the seminal rock bands of all-time can be found in this upcoming set.
Have fun guessing, and I'll see you (likely) tomorrow for the next set!

Are You that Somebody
This is an improvement from yesterdays.
I find it funny how many people claim the 5 #1s as Bad's biggest success, but Smooth Criminal didn't even hit the top 10 and it's more known than 4 of the #1s. I think the cover had something to do with that though.
