Maybe the strings or constraint in his life that held him back from coming out suddenly were all forgotten and the true them easily became free. He was him at last

Your sexuality goes deeper than that.. its like in your genes and DNA.
Apparently scientists found that babies who are gay have a larger nuclei?

Well, since we don't know if newborn babies have sexual response that's hard to tell. But considering sexual orientation is determined at birth and babies don't really have a sexual and erotic response because they only have basic needs to be satisfied, that would happen exactly to people in the scenario you're describing. What I mean is that they don't really forget about their sexuality, it is just "repressed" because at that moment their basic needs are just more important than having a sexual and erotic response about other people.
But I'm not a doctor so this is just a supposition. Actually, sex is listed as one of the basic human needs. Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory includes sex in the Physiological needs category, but there you can find some more important needs as food, breathing, water and sleep. So, make your own conclusions.
These words I just wrote sound crazy, so I hope you understood at least a little bit

Your sexuality isn't something connected to your memory though. I think even if you forgot everything, your sexuality would still be there...you'd just have to discover it again. I believe it's in your DNA.

Sexuality is a combination of nature and nurture so yes, I don't see why it would not be possible. It's not ALL DNA, biology, and genetics.
Really, I think it's something that could've happened with me, but that's a completely different story, and it doesn't really matter anyway. Either way people should stop coming in here thinking they know what they're talking about when they really don't.

I had brain surgeries in 6th grade where I almost died. When I survived, however, I had to relearn everything including how to walk, how to talk, etc. basically everything that you were saying. It wasn't amnesia, but I hadn't done these things for months and they operated on parts of the brain that controlled these things.
However, getting to the topic of discussion, they operated on the left side of the brain which contains the hypothalamus, which controls desires and things of that nature.
My point being, that I had a girlfriend actually at the time of the surgery, and I had one before as well. Shortly after I went back to school and had time to interact with her, we broke up, and it wasn't as if all of a sudden I was attracted to guys, but I really had no interest in having a girlfriend after that, and gradually become more attracted to guys.
This occurred during a time or puberty and change in my life, but it's still interesting to ponder about, and I have done research concerning the topic, but I don't think I will ever know for sure what exactly it was.

Honey, you were in 6th grade. Kids that age barely know what's even going on.

It wasn't amnesia, he had a stroke and was in a coma, and when he woke up, he said he was gay, whereas he was straight before. He still remembered his previous life, he just didn't feel the same way.

You have it right there. A lot of gay people have straight relationships, especially when they're much younger. I barely knew what sex was in sixth grade; there's no way I could have known what it meant to be gay. (Yes, I knew I was different, and I knew I didn't feel the same way about girls that my friends did, but that's not what I'm saying).
