The point isn't not being gay, or not being bullied. It's a stereotype because she's so passionate about it, but saying "I'm normal, I'm not gay" is pushing it. It's obvious she has straight fans and they are obviously the majority, she wouldn't be pop if she didn't.

It's an insensitive way to put it. "I'm normal, I'm not black," people would have a problem with that. "I'm normal, I'm not Jewish." It's homophobic, I don't really care, just stating facts.
