& hopefully you're talking about Kyuhyun from Suju Cause he can really sing one of the best male idols in the game. Yesung is just OK.
& Jay Park can't sing. I'll be glad when people stop praising his voice, he can dance but thats it Ji Eun didn't win either did she?

I already liked Kyuhyun, before IS2 I thought everyone in SuJu except Kyuhyun, Shindong, Eunhyuk and Donghae were useless. Yesung is actually great. She's a great singer. Not the best, but still great, and she can show emotions.
I hate Jay Park's voice But he deserved to win the one he won. I remember everyone in the crowd was going crazy. Actually Imma search for the video, I remember a gif-worthy moment
Ji Eun was in the time the minor competitions were based in the idols rates and not audience votes, and Ji Eun was last for 2 consecutive weeks. She never won in the main competition either. She actually left the show after tese 2 weeks. I felt really bad for her
But damn, bitch has no luck. She was the 2nd best in the main competition in her 2nd week IMO, but she went to perform last and battled against Hyorin, which was the #1 of the day IMO.
If you watched the first episode you gotta remember the 3 objectives of the show
1. Make older people stop thinking idols are just cute faces and good dancers. They can also sing.
2. Make younger people stop being biased, and enjoy what other groups have to offer. Just because they aren't in your fave group doesn't mean they can't also be great.
3. The winner of the show is the one that makes a better connection with the audience. Not the best singer or dancer, the best performer.
That's why Jay Park only won in the Nam Jin episode, he SLAYED that day.
I'm still on episode 22 tho, so I don't know if he will win again. And I only count the wins of the main challenge/minor challenges with audience, I don't count those #1 based in the grades given by the idols themselves.

yeah he did connect to the audience because he did some impressive dance moves and made the classic enjoyable. But overall, he just did the same how he did on music programs like music bank, m!countdown,... it's nothing special

I guess I'm one of the few who truly love the picture and the styling for this era
