Bee Gees - "Stayin' Alive"

Songs 110-101:
110) Ace of Base - The Sign (41 points)
109) Elvis Presley - Suspicious Minds (41 points)
108) Depeche Mode - Enjoy the Silence (41 points)
107) Garbage - Only Happy When It Rains (41 points)
106) Meat Loaf - Paradise by the Dashboard Light (41 points)
105) The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Voodoo Child (42 points)
104) Boston - More Than A Feeling (42 points)
103) Michael Jackson - Black or White (42 points)
102) Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five - The Message (43 points)
101) Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive (43 points)
Fun fact: 102 and 101 were tied with two other songs, but the other two songs won tiebreakers to get on the list. "I Will Survive" lost a particularly tough tiebreaker, having finished with the same points AND rankings as #100, but missing out due to its last ballot being placed after #100's last ballot.

I love it, but I agree, it would be weird. If R. Kelly must appear on the list, he has better songs than that.

I didn't know that either. It's one of the four 90s songs on my ballot...
"Kiss From a Rose" isn't a bad choice either. A few other good choices would be "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" and "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday." "Vogue" is from a soundtrack too, but I can't imagine it being this low...
Song of the Week: Can't Hold Us (feat. Ray Dalton) - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

I have a terrible feeling the song I placed at number one didn't even make the final 100.

Okay, I can't say which song, but someone HAS guessed it. I would say to talk amongst yourselves, but you guys have done plenty of that.
Oh, since no one is guessing my "personal favorite" hint, allow me to give you another hint: It was a #1 single.
I'm going to try to begin working on the next set now, so guess away before the update!
EDIT: I also had to make a quick change to the list, when I noticed that one song deserved to be higher than another. I've also changed the hints somewhat to correlate with that change.
Song of the Moment
Volbeat - The Hangman's Body Count
I welcome the rain
And as you walk the final top
They will start to dark my past
Nothing counting in this world
See the valley turn to darkness on your way

Benzene probably got it. He guessed like four songs, I only guessed I'm Every Woman.

ATRL's Top 100 Songs of the 20th Century: 95-91
No intro, let's get right to the next set!

Points: 44
Ballots: 2
Highest Ranking: #1 (FreeXone)
This song brings back a LOT of nostalgic memories. This song was one of the songs I remember hearing a lot while on the bus heading to and from school, along with other late 90's songs such as "When The Lights Go Out" and "Never Ever". One thing that I have to constantly remind myself of is the fact that this song reached #1. I always thought that it was a #2 single, for some reason.

Points: 44
Ballots: 3
Highest Ranking: #13 (Damien M)
The first song in the top 100 to be on more than two ballots, "Little Red Corvette" made the list on the strength of three smaller rankings. The change in the point system had a huge hand in helping this song make the list. Under the old point system, this song would not have even broken 15 points. There are two Prince songs still to come, but this one is a personal favorite. Fun fact: This is the only song in this set that did not reach #1 on the Hot 100.

Points: 45
Ballots: 2
Highest Ranking: #8 (Kool_Aid_King)
This would happen to be the song that I was referring to as "one of my personal favorite songs of the 90's". 15 years later, whenever this song comes on the radio, I can't help but rap along with Biggie Smalls. This still has one of the most awesome samples in rap music, altering the beat of "Rise" by Herb Alpert in spectacular fashion. I am now regretting not placing this song on my own list. Let's move on.

Points: 45
Ballots: 2
Highest Ranking: #3 (RadioKaKa)
Fun fact: This is one of the first songs that I ever fell in love with. Part of it (okay, most of it) has to do with my fanatical love of Batman Forever at the time, and that song and "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" by U2 really captured my imagination in a way that few songs have since, even after I became such a big music buff.

Points: 45
Ballots: 2
Highest Ranking: #3 (cheers09)
I will always remember the music video for this song, showcasing the absolutely stunning looks of Toni Braxton as much as possible. The song's not too shabby, either, with a powerhouse vocal performance, complete with a powerful last chorus. I will say this, though: I still like "You're Makin' Me High" more.
Next up: Songs 90-86. And guess what that means? IT'S TIME FOR TIDBITS AND HINTS~!
- Three songs from the 90's and two songs from the 70's are found within this coming set.
- Four of the five artists will have at least one other song on the list after this set.
- The song from the artist with just one song in the top 100 came on strong to make the list late.
- One of the artists has already appeared on the list.
- The next appearance by two of the artists in this coming set will have their next (and last) appearance occur VERY quickly after this next set.
Have fun guessing. I hope to get 90-86 up tonight, but I am not making any promises.

Together Again - I'm glad Janet made this rate! Got Til It's Gone was THIS close to making my list but alas it didn't. Great song and I'm glad it made it here.
Little Red Corvette - 3 Prince songs? That must mean SOTT and WDC are left, sad that Kiss couldn't make it.
Hypnotize - Good placing. I hope Juicy makes it because Juicy is better.
Kiss from a Rose - Not a fan of this personally but I understand how it can be appealing. I'm fine with it.
Un-Break My Heart - Uh :bilbio:
