Katy wasn't that far behind her, and as someone said, there was no competition for Gaga. Plus, I don't think it's any secret that the Monsters outnumber the Katy Kats... big whoop. Y'all need to calm down.

Well, that might be true, but Gaga's fans are spread out globally while Katy's a much more local, tween/teen-geared singer. And with The Simpsons being an American cartoon show, I would really hope Katy scores the higher ratings...

If KatyCats are using an episode of American Idol do prove the lower ratings, then hello 'Lisa Goes Gaga' had the Billboard awards against it !!
I don't get why everyones arguing, clearly Katy's a Gaga fan so I'm sure she's perfectley happy being second best

Last years Simpson's season finale was against the Billboard Awards. This years season finale still managed to score less.
