In 2009 Maxwell released his first album in almost a decade titled "BLACKsummers'night" which was praised by critics, and fans. The album opened with 316k, and became his second #1 album. The album gave Maxwell 6 DAM GRAMMY NOMINATIONS!!!
A few days ago on twitter, Maxwell confirmed that the sequel of "BLACKsummers'night" titled "SUMMERS" will be starting soon. The first single is coming out "soon" according to Maxwell. Here are some lyrics of a song rumored to be titled "Of All Kind."

Thanks "fortheloveofmusic" for making this thread for Maxwell. Well I still stan for Usher but he was never my #1. Since that ATRL "Greatest R&B Album in the past 30 year" pissed me the **** off last night, I listen to some great r&b classic and when I put on some Maxwell "Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite," "Embrya," "Now," and "BLACKsummers'night ," I realize that I love Maxwell more than Usher. Maxwell is really my favortie male vocalist and Usher was just my favorite male performer. I stan for Maxwell first when I was a kid. I was a fan of Usher back in the day but what put me on to Usher for real was his Confessions album. Maxwell is my new #1 king while Usher can be my prince.
He vocal is so underrated. I can't wait for 2013.
