King Mayer storms into the chart with a #1 and #3 debut while replacing himself at #1 and sending that song to the runner up position giving him control of the Top 3. The #1 is noneother than the title track of his just released album "Born And Raised." The song becomes the 18th song to debut on top and Mayer's 3rd #1 debuting song, he holds the record for the most #1 debuts among male artists, he was the first male artist to debut at #1 and the first artist to replace himself @ #1. Mayer ties Taylor Swift as the artists with the 3rd most #1s on my chart with 9 #1s each.

At #2 we find "Shadow Days" which after 5 non-consecutive days on top it falls to the runner-up position. Another Mayer debut comes with the name "If I Ever Get Around To Living" which debuts at #3, the song is one of my favorites in the album if not the one, the only reason it didn't hit #1 today is because i listened to "Born And Raised" more.

Karmin's "Brokenhearted" and Gotye/Kimbra STIUTK are the only holdovers in the Top 5, Gotye has another song climbing up the chart with "Eyes Wide Open" jumping 15-12 as the Greatest Gainer song of the day.

Rihanna jumps 8-4 with WHYB after the Idol finale. Gotye holds at #5 while another song by him, "Eyes Wide Open" jumps to #9 giving him two Top 10s out of two chart entries.

Florence + The Machine also earn their second Top 10 out of two entries with "Shake It Out" which jumps 15-10 as the Greatest Gainer of the day, however their first top 10 "Dog Days Are Over" was back in 2010.

King Mayer continues to rule the top of the chart but he shouldn't get too comfortable since Queen Ri Ri makes the biggest move of the day rising 4-2 today with "Where Have You Been," the song has been trying to get back on top for a while after 8 non-consecutive days on top.

The big news today come from Kelly Clarkson whose re-entry of "Dark Side" @ #9 gives the Idol Winner her 5th Top 10 in my chart after the Jason Alden duet "Don't You Wanna Stay" (#1 [x3]), her own "Mr. Know It All" (#1 [x5]), "I Forgive You" (#1 [x2) and the 7 day topper "Stronger (#1 [x7]). Kelly is one of the few artist on my chart to actually have a clean streak of #1s.
