I heard it on the radio yesterday and I liked the different version. I don't think the change is too drastic, it's just a different more poppy beat like someone already said above. I still got the original melancholic/sad vibe from it.
I love the album version but I think with the slower beat and strings, it wasn't really suitable for the radio so the new mix makes sense.

Kinda takes away the eerie-ness of the original version, but I think to make it more mainstream friendly, they pulled what "Somebody That I Used To Know" did, and added a more pop friendly version to radio and now it's a #1 smash. If the slow version of that song was only on radio, I don't think it would be nearly as big. So, I hope this same thing works for Lana and SS becomes huge!!
