It seems like you're like me and you prefer her earlier works. This new album is a bit like Far & BTH combined. It's still worth the listen though

Party is one of her best songs ever. I don't love the order of the songs.. Top three: Party, Jessica, Firewood. I actually LOVE the new Don't Leave Me production. Such a good album!! I'm so sad it's so short! She should've included more rewound versions of songs from Songs then since she said she wants them all redone eventually

I don't like how short the album is either, but it's really enjoyable. I love "Jessica" and "Firewood". "How" slays my soul. I wish she'd focus on recording songs that have never been recorded or made it past demo stage, though.

Yeah, I remember that performance. That was understandable given the circumstances.
And the album is #5 on iTunes! Let's hope the physical sales match.

#126 on pre-orders. Not that I really care because I don't care for sales too much but just out of curiosity, do any of you happen to know how much she sold with her last three albums? Hopefully we don't discourage her from making any more albums and she does well in comparison to her past sales figures that's my only worry. I don't want her to stop making music

"Begin to Hope" and "Far" sold more than a million WW each, Begin to hope is gold in the US and far is about 400,000 + copies sold in the US

I love this album. While it took me a few listens to really get into it and connect with it, I now think every song on it is great. I've heard people say it sounds boring and that Regina has lost her weirdness, I don't see that at all. There are still quirky moments as well as a lot of emotion in certain songs and great lyrics. The bonus tracks are amazing as well, I love when she sings in Russian.
