I think that she does not like performing in public very much. Even though her album has been extremely successful, she really did not promote it that much through actual performances.

I think she's more ambitious when it comes to creating a song and album. The promotion part is not really her thing.

Agreed. But the fact she clearly knows this and still has no inclination to do it just makes me respect her even more. When you look at how her Live DVD has slayed all the others (including stadium acts) it makes it even more certain she could.


PS People also tend to forget she sold out The Hollywood Bowl (capcity 18,000) in 2009, 2 years before '21' was released. How much more popular is she now?

Touring is the only department where their faves can still shine without having Adele above them. Of course they'd be mad. Anyway I don't think Adele's numbers would be bigger than Gaga's, for example. It's a whole different kind of spectacle.

Yes of course she can be a successful touring act but she will choose to perform only in select intimate venues that suit her style, and will give great performances. She will not be doing mega stadium tours like certain lesser artists do, because she has nothing to prove by doing so.
