That is a very stupid reason if you ask me, it might be defining for the people who are following the Tour and I've only seen Gaga getting more press right now for negative things in general. Extremely brave movement indeed, but I don't think it would be heralded as such in the rest of the world. They're just waiting for the next "Gaga falls on stage" video, not the "Gaga performs risky show even with death treats by religious extremists" news.
A greater part of me wants her to pass out drunk so she can be flown to Auckland, but I would still feel bad for the fans there because they obviously outnumber the religious freaks. Gaga would feel even more devastated than I would for them.
