expect a performance to be a trainwreck when there's dancers and flying dipshits when it comes to katy perry. The whole concept was just too much for her though, she's trying to be more than what she is. She should just leave the twirls and unnecessary things to her dancers its their job. And do her job as a singer which is to deliver good vocals instead

I STRONGLY disagree!
IMO that's the only good thing from this Complete Confection era, that she's TRYING to become a better performer (the power ranger costumes, the glass box at the grammys, dance breakdowns, acrobatic things) ...yeah, she's failing miserably, but I give her props for trying. If a wanted a careless & lazy popstar, I'd be a Britney/Rihanna stan.
Someone give her a number of a vocal coach please

The talent and voice is there, she just needs to learn how to use it.

I watched again too and the chorus is what made it sound messy. Verses were pretty much on point. She really looked uncomfortable, especially the spinning. She was clearly more focused on not falling, which I can't really blame her. If she fell and got hurt I would've had to cut a bitch

props for her for trying but sometimes you don't need all the unnecessary props to give a good performance because the vocals ends up suffering, this performance is a perfect example of that.
on the other hand i think her voice is just really worn out now, she's been on tour nonstop promoting her singles like crazy.
What she needs is a long break, this era did wonders for her status as a popstar and career.
