What success? They have both sold around the same amount of records and Janet has more #1's  And even if Britney has eclipsed janet in that area, IS her legacy as big as Janets? Is she more talented then Janet? is she as critically Acclaimed as Janet? Is she as respected as Janet?

Of course she does. Her last hit was less then a year ago Whilst Janets was 10 years ago. And from what i heard Janets vevo has been blocked in alot of countries

I think you're mistaken sis! Here is an official list from RIAA of best selling artists in the U.S. It has been updated very recently as you can see Adele on the list on page 3.

Britney Spears - 33 million.
Janet Jackson - 26 million.
Let's not even get started on the WW numbers. 
Britney also has more iconic music video's and several iconic performances. I believe Janet has influenced Britney a lot, but when Britney has achieved this much then she shouldn't be called the "____" anything.

You clearly know nothing about Janet if you have to bring in Certifications sis, Because if you did you would know Janet is criminally undercertified. Check her soundscan/bmg numbers for proof. What about Worldwide? Universal and other Sources has janet at over 100 Million in 2007 while Britney was in the 80 millions..And as i said even if Britney ends up outselling Janet it doesn't Measure up to the points Janet has over Britney..And don't even get to 'iconic' Performances when nothing Britney has done will be as remembered as Janet's Superbowl Performance.

and to compare Britney's Sales with Janet?..Janet who was in the Business since the 80's?
