I think most Gaga stans do love Madonna though. Being a monster myself, if you really dig into M's artistry, its hard not to fall for her since she's basically a dated version of our fave. Just after all this "reductive" tea started recently, the Gaga stans have kind of turned on her. But I've seen SEVERAL Gaga stans who love Madonna. Also a lot of Gaga stans who have jumped ship resort to stanning for M.
For the record, I don't think I'll ever "stan" for anyone other than Gaga, but if anyone comes close its Madge 
she wore a RAAAASPBERRY BERET

Maybe not most, but more than people think probably. I didn't used to care for her at all. I've started liking some of her stuff though, and loving some of it, too. I've always admired her as a person.

This basically. I know Gaga is talented, i respect her voice and her playing piano but i'm not a fan. I used to just not care about her but then the little monsters started their vendetta against Madonna (and that was WAY before the "reductive" thing) and that ruined everything for me.
Everyone on this site know damn well that monsters HATE Madonna, with the exception of a few. Why do you think there's so much threads like "Will BTW tour beat MDNA tour?" or things like that 
Madonna and Gaga can't be compared because Madonna is a veteran who has nothing to prove anymore and is WAY above her peak. But yet the monsters insist to compare her to a relatively new artist (4 years is still new) and that's just wrong. Anyone with a brain know that the new artist will be more successful in his peak than the veteran who's here since decades, it's just logic.

I respect Gaga. I don't exactly hate her, nor I praise her like she's an equivalent of Jesus, but I acknowledge her existence and importance in today's pop climate. To be honest, it is actually comparable to Madonna's (and Britney's) impact in the first few years of her career.

Girl, they were comparing their tours 'cause what Gaga did in Asia was ****ing impressive. She's a touring force now in the same league as Madonna, U2 or The Rolling Stones, and we were/are happy as hell.
