she might not be able to repeat the same success but it doesn't mean she will fade away, she's different it's not just about selling albums, she's also selling millions of songs around the world, her music videos on youtube get hundreds of millions views, her fan base is increasing on facebook and twitter, she's almost 30M likes on facebook, she has it all and I believe she will keep going.
ďIím becoming a little more comfortable in front of the camera. I wasnít used to it before. I was thrown into a new lifestyle and everything I do is kind of filmed or photographed. Iím a private guy. I like to keep to myself. Iím shy, maybe. It gets kind of tricky for me but, Iím beginning to find the fun in it. I donít take myself too seriously so if Iím front of the camera, thatís what youíre going to get, me clowning around."(Bruno Mars)
She won't repeat the success of '21', but you can tell she won't fade away...look at the success of '19' that also sold ridiculously well when it was first out!! That should be proof enough, but i also think '21'will make her next album garner massive hype!
kinda. i think her next album will be successful too but obviously nowhere near the success of 21
that doesnt mean shes a fad, michael never had another album like thriller but he is the king of pop, taylor hasnt had an album like fearless but shes still one of the biggest entertainers in music, usher never had another confessions but he still the prince of pop. what is your logic???
to answer the op hell no, adele's success will continue to grow, true she wont have another 21 but she will continue to sell, her next album could easily pull 10 million ww if she does the right promo for it, adele is one of the best artist ive seen in years, shes talented, beautiful and humble we get artist like adele every blue moon, she wont fade, never!!!!! she will experience celine dion success, and you pressed haters (monsters) will deal.
Anyone who think she's selling less than a million copies of her next album in the first week is kidding themselves.
Something that people forget, especially when it comes to predicting first week sales for her next album: 21 went #1 and sold 350k+ in its first week. This is important because that was months before "Rolling in the Deep" became a megasmash. Imagine what her first week sales are going to be like after three #1 singles and the biggest selling album in a long, long, LONG time.
I mean, 21 is going to reach diamond in the US before too long. A diamond-selling album? In two years? IN THIS MUSIC CLIMATE? And unlike some artists who are primarily album sellers, Adele had three #1 hits off of 21, and let's not forget about another song that reached the top 20 despite everyone and their mother already owning the album.
If this is a fad, then this is, arguably, the biggest fad in the history of music.
Song of the Moment Arcade Fire - Reflektor
Now, the signals we send are deflected again
We're still connected, but are we even friends
We fell in love when I was nineteen And now we're staring at a screen
